Classes and Groups

It is very important to us that you discover other people who you "connect" with in a meaningful way. That's what makes church real and alive - lasting friendships. To that end, we offer a variety of classes and groups. Here are some examples of some of these events:

Doorway Classes

We provide four different classes designed to help newcomers get acclimated to our church environment (Doorway to Our Church Family); to pursue membership in the church (Doorway to Maturity); to find a place of service in the church (Doorway to Service); and learn about how we want to influence others in the church (Doorway to Influence). If you are new to our church, or want to get a brief "intro" to what we are all about, call to sign up for our next "Doorway to Our Church Family" or email us at classes@elimgospel.org.

Community Groups

Throughout the year we hold a special event called "GroupLink". This 90 minute meeting is all about meeting other people and finding a community group that's right for you. Community Groups are small groups of 8 - 12 adults who meet in homes in your area. Each group meets for an initial 8 weeks. After that time, group members have the opportunity to evaluate if that group is right for them and continue on or not. Sunday Night Classes

Every Fall, Winter, and Spring we offer a wide variety of adult classes at the church from 6:00PM - 7:30PM. These classes coincide with our teen and children's programs for your convenience. Regularly offered classes include Good $ense (finance class), Getting Started With Christ (for new believers), Growing Kids God's Way (parenting), Bible Study Methods, DNA of Relationships (marriage), Drawing Near to God, and a lot more! Each week we also provide refreshments until 8PM so class participants can relax and meet new people. To learn more about upcoming groups check out our online version of the EGC Monthly.

Ongoing Groups

Throughout the week you will find even more groups you may participate in. Some of our regular ongoing groups include "Celebrate Recovery" (helping you overcome unhealthy habits or addictions), "Women at the Well" (every Sunday morning for women), and "Community Women's Bible Study" (every Wednesday morning for women). Discipleship

After you have had a chance to discover our church and begin building relationships, you may also choose to participate in one of our discipleship groups for men or women. These groups delve deeper into issues of the heart and help us develop a more balanced life through bible study, biblical teaching, and accountability.
