Children's Ministry

I'm Seth Goodson, the Children's Director (Grades 1-6) at Elim Gospel Church. It's a great privilege to be part of shaping the leaders of tomorrow each week!

Your children are very important to us!

That's why we spend a lot of energy on making sure our programs are safe, friendly, fun, and relevant. Jesus told His disciples, "Let the children come to me, and forbid them not!" We take that verse to heart - and want to see your children learn about God in a way that will help them now and for the rest of their lives.

What to expect on Sunday mornings

You will find a KidzExpress Welcome Center in the main foyer of our facility. Your first visit to us will be much easier if you take 3 minutes to stop there and receive a special packet of information and instructions about our morning activities for children (infants - 6th grade).

For Infants & Toddlers

We've dedicated an entire wing of our facility to the care of young children and infants. Our volunteer staff are specially trained to care for your little ones. Additionally, we offer a sleeping room for infants, and a nursing mothers room for moms (where you can also watch the service live via video-feed.). Our 1 & 2 Year Old classes include our unique curriculum designed to teach them about God's love and His Bible through hands-on activities.

For Preschoolers

Your 3 - 5 year olds are sure to enjoy the crafts, singing, stories, activites and healthy snacks in their various classes! Each class is cared for by our trained Shepherds & Co-Shepherds. These men & women love kidz! Storytime & song time are led by gifted individuals who are uniquely expressive and creative in their presentation.

For Gradeschoolers

KidzChurch is a happenin' place for gradeschoolers (1st - 6th grade)! Our committed team loves to think up new ways to present the truths of the Bible in ways that will capture children's attention. The service begins much like our adult services - with singing, announcements, & preaching; but I doubt you'd see much similarity in their presentations! After the lesson children split up into smaller groups by age and grade. Our KidzChurch Shepherds take time to talk to, pray for and listen to your children each week.

For 5th & 6th Graders

Express 56 is designed to reach the tween age group with age appropriate worship, teaching and accountability. Every 2nd service our leaders will pour into them and give these tweens destiny and purpose to help fight the temptations the surround this age group.
